A Funeral Ceremony for Edward Karl Betts of Gassville, Arkansas, will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Ed passed away on January 12, 2013, in his home at the age of 58. He was born December 22, 1954, in Woodstock, Illinois, the son of Earl and Dorothy Schmidt Betts. He married Jeanne Guzniczak on December 30, 1997, at Mountain Home, AR, and worked as a Water Treatment Plant Operator. Ed lived in Gassville, AR since 1995, moving from Illinois. He enjoyed carpentry and was also a private pilot.

Ed is survived by his wife, Jeanne Betts of Gassville, AR, brother, Earl (Tina) Betts of Gassville, AR, brother, Eric (Gay) Betts of Buford, AR, and sister, Esther Betts of Flippin, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Peggy and brother Dan.
