Cheryl Nuss Groh
June 30, 1955 - August 31, 2018

Cheryl Leah Groh, age 63, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018, in Crystal Lake. She was born on June 30, 1955, the daughter of Walter and Leah (Andreoni) Nuss. 

After graduating from McHenry High School with the class of '73; Cheryl worked hard and was proud of her 40 year career as a Mortgage Underwriter. However she took far greater pride in her children. A loving mother, she told anyone who would listen about the accomplishments of her son and daughter. In her time off she enjoyed quietly reading at her cabin in Hayward, Wisconsin and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her parents, Walter and Leah Nuss; her beloved children, Nathan and Megan Groh; her siblings, Terri Hill and Marty Nuss; and her sister-in-law, Amy Nuss.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Brian Nuss. 

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 12:00 noon at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Dr. McHenry, IL, 60050. Interment will be private.
